Welcome to the Healthcare Provider BLS (HCP BLS) Course

Healthcare providers require a higher level of Basic Life Support (BLS) training than the general public. In this course, you will learn the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, and other life-threatening situations in clinical and pre-hospital settings.

This course is designed for medical professionals, including:

  • Nurses (RNs, LPNs)
  • Physicians
  • Paramedics & EMTs
  • Respiratory Therapists
  • Medical Assistants & Technicians

What Makes HCP BLS Different?

Unlike general BLS, Healthcare Provider BLS includes:

  • Pulse checks to assess whether compressions are needed
  • Bag-mask ventilation and airway adjuncts (oropharyngeal & nasopharyngeal airways)
  • Two-rescuer team-based resuscitation (with role coordination)
  • Special considerations for pregnant, trauma, and opioid overdose patients
  • Seamless integration with ACLS & PALS when advanced care is required

By the end of this course, you will have the confidence to perform high-quality BLS in hospitals, clinics, ambulances, and other healthcare environments.

Let’s begin and ensure you’re prepared to provide life-saving care at a professional level!
